Malin Matsdotter

Malin Matsdotter is known as the Great Noise witch. The largest witch trial in Swedish history, when she was reported for witchcraft… by her own family. Matsdotter was found guilty thanks to the testimony of her own daughters and her lack of religious knowledge and prayers. According to contemporary witnesses, Malin Matsdotter behaved with great dignity and courage during the whole trial. She never gave up her own beliefs and she stood tall in every situation the life has brought.
